

The fact that the game is more than just a gigantic add-on is due to the far-reaching changes to the gameplay. It took developer Raven Software only a short time to create another first-person shooter in the Jedi Knight series after the excellent Jedi Outcast. Interact with famous Star Wars characters in a variety of classic Star Wars locations and make arguably the most important decision of your life: fight for the Light Side and freedom, or follow the Dark Side of the Force - and evil. This time you'll take on the role of a new student, eager to learn the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. It was thrilling stuff back in the day, and it’s just as good now, so if you’re still waiting patiently for EA to put out another decent single-player Star Wars game, Jedi Academy will do just fine.Star Wars - Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is the latest game in the multiple award-winning Jedi Knight series. There’s also the full single-player story that follows on from Jedi Outcast, though this time you take on the role of a rookie Padawan who stumbles upon a plot to destroy the Jedi.


Unlike Jedi Outcast, this instalment comes with the game’s original multiplayer modes, meaning you’ll be able to go online and play with friends and strangers in some old-school lightsaber duels across a range of multiplayer modes. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy released on March 26th for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
